From May 7 to 9, 2024, the LaserBlood project was showcased at CLEO 2024 (Conference on Lasers and Electro-Optics) in Charlotte, North Caroline (US). Renowned for its focus on groundbreaking developments in optics and photonics, CLEO provided an ideal platform to present LaserBlood’s cutting-edge approach.
Our team highlighted the project’s use of biophotonic nanoparticles and fluorescence lifetime fingerprinting as a diagnostic tool for pancreatic cancer. Discussions centered around the technological challenges and breakthroughs involved in integrating photonic methods into medical diagnostics. The event also opened doors to collaborations with leading experts in laser technologies and biomedical optics.
